How to get Emberstep

  1. Install Emberstep on your phone from the App Store or Google Play. Everything in Free works immediately, with no account.
  2. To upgrade, open Premium in the app and pick yearly ($44.99, 7-day trial) or monthly ($6.99, no trial). Billing runs through the store via RevenueCat — this site never takes a card. No web checkout.
  3. Premium includes the web dashboard. Enroll once from the phone, then sign in at my.emberstep.app.

The store listings go live with public launch. Until then, Support has the current install and import guidance. Yearly works out to $3.75/month · save 46% vs monthly.

Renewal and cancellation terms

Only yearly includes a 7-day free trial. After the trial, Yearly renews automatically at $44.99/year until cancelled. Monthly renews automatically at $6.99/month with no trial. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Store rules apply to refunds and mid-period cancellation.

I'm coming from Fitbit. What exactly do I need?

A Google Takeout zip of your Fitbit data. The app includes a guided walkthrough for requesting it, then parses the archive on your phone — damaged or partial archives are recovered as far as honestly possible, with the gaps stated on your receipt.

Which watches and phones work?

iOS and Android, via Apple Health and Health Connect. Any watch or band that writes steps into those hubs counts — which is nearly all of them. The connection is read-only.

What happens to my data on Android?

Data derived from Health Connect stays on your phone — never in our cloud, never on the web dashboard. On iOS, daily totals sync only if you explicitly turn on the dashboard. Either way, health data is never sold and never used for advertising.

What if I cancel Premium?

Paid features pause; nothing else changes. Your timeline, badges, and streaks stay right where they are, and full export remains free — that rule is in the product constitution, not a promotion.
